Sarah Ann Payne, 37, a homemaker, died of cancer Sunday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Services are 2 p.m. today at Henderson Road Baptist Church with burial in Terry Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home of Crystal Springs is handling arrangements. Mrs. Payne lived just outside Terry in south Hinds County. She was a member of Henderson Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband, Billy; sons, Paul Payne, Michael Payne and Jason Payne, all of Jackson; daughter, Heather Payne of Jackson; brothers, Clint Burleson of Greenville, Bill Burleson of Crystal Springs, Jack Burleson of Greenwood, Frank Burleson of Isola, Joe Burleson of Clarksdale, Steve Burleson, Sammy Burleson and Tommy Burleson, all of Jackson, Jerry Burleson of Arapho, Okla., and James Burleson of Terry; sisters, Bobbie Joyce McNair of Hazlehurst, Patsy June Jones of Slidell, Alice Faye Burleson, Charlene Burleson, Charlotte Burleson, Elizabeth Jean Burleson and Edna Carolyn Burleson, all of Terry, and Syble Cone of Metairie, La.
