Tony was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania the son of Michael and Eva Mihal Coley. He passed away at his residence in Sherman, Texas

He joined the United States Navy and later joined the United States Air Force. During this time, he served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam before his retirement in 1966. While serving, he married Wanda McGuire on 26 February 1949 at the Perrin Air Force Base Chapel, Sherman.
Tony worked at the Sherman Post Office for 18 years.

He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and St. Mary's Catholic Parish.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Johnny, Joe, Bobby and Charles Coley and one sister, Peggy Rhoades.

Anthony is survived by his wife Wanda of Sherman, TX, two sons, David M. Coley and wife Laurie of Slidell, LA and Stephen W. Coley and wife Christine of Plano, TX, daughter, Lorraine C. Hufford and husband David of Grand Prairie, TX, five grandchildren, Kimberly Thacker and husband Jimmy of San Diego, CA,Mark Coley of Slidell, LA, Nicholas Hufford of Grand Prairie, TX, Matthew Hufford of El Paso, TX, and Peter Coley of Slidell, LA. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Halee Litolff, Sydney, Lily and Charlie Thacker all of San Diego, CA, one brother, Michael Coley of El Paso, TX, one sister, Josephine Mamola and husband Joe of Wilkes-Barre, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Rosary was recited by Deacon John LeBlanc at Waldo Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated by Father Jeremy Myers, Pastor of St Mary's Parish, assisted at the altar by Deacon Tomas Avila, at at St Mary's Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Carl Payne, Frank Moore, Mike Moore, Nicholas Hufford, Matthew Hufford and Mark Coley. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Moore, Don Moore and Richard Terrell.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.
