William B. Cate, 72, of Tyler, Texas, brother of Patsy Swaffar of Quitman, died Friday (Sept. 26, 1997).
A former resident of Texarkana, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Gean Salah.
Other survivors include his wife, Emma Gean Cate; a son, William B. Cate II of Dallas; two other sisters, Gussie Love of North Little Rock and Elsie Faye Moon of Wilson (Mississippi County); a brother, Franklin Cate of El Dorado; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gospel Mission Church in Des Arc (Prairie County). Burial will be in Felts Family Cemetery near Des Arc by Garth Funeral Home.
