VIDALIA -- Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Schiefelbein Boaen, 76, died June 9 at Meadows Regional Medical Center.

The Iliff, Colo., native resided in Vidalia the past nine years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vidalia.

SURVIVORS: six daughters, Margaret Biggers and Eleanor Boaen, both of Metter, Barbara Boaen of Savannah, Joyce Beasley of Lyons, Mary Edwards of Milledgeville and Teresa Ross of Macon; four sons, Donald Boaen and James Boaen, both of Vidalia, Joe Boaen of Twin City and Larry Boaen of Pulaski; a brother, Jacob Schiefelbein of Glendale, Ariz.; three sisters, Kathryn Bosio of Soledad, Calif., Ann Smith of Sterling, Colo., and Regina Schiefelbein of Glendale, Ariz.; 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 1 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, burial at 3:30 p.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery near Springfield. Murchison Funeral Home.
