STATESBORO - Ms. Nikisha Charlene Hill passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15th, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Ga. She was a native of Chatham County, but lived all of her life in Statesboro. She was a 1997 graduate of Statesboro High School, a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Hodges Grove Baptist Church and an employee of the Georgia Department of Corrections.

She is survived by a daughter, Shekereia Robins, Statesboro; her parents, Grady and Ruthie Hill, Statesboro; a sister, Martisha Hill, Augusta; a brother, Grady Rashad Hill, Statesboro; her loving companion, Vance "TeTa" Key, Portal; two nieces, Amberelle Jones, Augusta, and Azareyah S. Leeks, Sylvania; one nephew, Michael Jones, Augusta; 10 aunts, seven uncles, two great-aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Ms. Hill will be held Friday, December 23rd, at 1 p.m. at Hodges Grove Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Dr. John Harmon, officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
