Son of Obediah Dodson and Sarah Garrison.

Texas patriot famed as man who introduced the Lone Star flag during the Texas Revolution. (Sarah Randolph Bradley Dodson) "Wife 1" Designer of the early lone-star Texas flag.

At age 91 Mr. Dodson passed away on his ranch about five miles south of Alice on March 10, 1898, and is buried in "old" Collins Cemetery.

Grave: Next to Mr. Dodson is his Daughter "Right" (Elizabeth Bradley Dodson)

"Left" for Mr. A. B. Dodson. On Gravestone: Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see god.
