IRENE B. TURCOTTE
Irene B. (Ritchott) Turcotte, 91, a 35-year seamstress for the former Asinof Clothing Co., died Wednesday at a local nursing home. She retired in 1967. Born here, she was a lifelong resident. She was a communicant of Assumption Church, and a member of its St. Anne's Society. She was a past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 625 Auxiliary, and a past member of the Over-60 Club and the Golden Agers. Her husband, Joseph V. Turcotte died in 1974. She leaves two daughters, Alice DaCuntha of Chicopee, and Annette Parent of Springfield; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The funeral is Saturday morning at Grise Funeral Home and the church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
