Frank Cherry age 87 of Havana peacefully passed away October 4, 2012 joining his son Randy Cherry in Heaven.

He was born July 25, 1925 in Havana, Arkansas to the late Jim & Sadie Brasher Cherry. He was a Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim & Sadie Cherry, son Randy Cherry, sisters Ada & Drucilla and brother Earl.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Ms. Nina; daughters & sons-in-law Pat & Mike Novinger of Danville; Connie & Jeff Curtis of Havana; Tammy & Ben Hughes of Waverly, KS; grandchildren Traci Apple husband Dan; Chris Bottoms wife Stormy; Katie Shelton; Niki Novinger; Rance Novinger and Sadie Moore ; great-grandchildren Dylan & Blake Morgan; Kamryn Apple; Tristin & Kennedy Bottoms; Airastyn Novinger; step-grandchildren Daniel & Hannah Apple and Ben D. Hughes; sisters Lucille & Mildred; brother Bob and many nieces and nephews cousin and friends.

If you called him Frank, Gobbler, Pop or Daddy chances are he had a story for you. And that is a lasting legacy.

The happiness you have given us will last a lifetime, Rest in paradise Daddy.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Havana First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smith and Bro John McCourt officiating.

Burial will be at Havana Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Mike Novinger, Jeff Curtis, Ben Hughes, Rance Novinger, Chris Bottoms, Dan Apple, Dylan Morgan and Blake Morgan.
