Born June 2 1937 in Lansing
died April 15, 1996 at the age
of 58. Rev. Snider retired
in 1993 from B.O.C. after 37
years of service.
He was a member of Wayside Chapel
Ministries of Mason, the Church of
the Living God in Remus, and the
U.A.W. Local #652. Rev. Snider was
preceded in death by 1 daughter, his
parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. Sur-
viving are his wife of 39 years, Joyce
J. (McIntyre); 2 daughters, Marilyn
K. (Daniel) Duncan of Lansing and
Constance L. (Christopher) Plas of
Grand Rapids; 3 sons, Walter D.
(Bessie) II, Timothy G. and Daniel
D. (Cindy), all of Lansing; 10 grand-
children; 1 great grandson; 3 broth-
ers, William Alfred (Nola) of Dex-
ter, Claude H. (Sherry) of Hastings
and Curtis L. (Mary) of Brethren; 4
sisters, Beatrice Kilvington of Holt
Frances (Robert)Wallace and Gladys (Larry) Cataline, both of Lansing
and Lydia (Richard) Ostrander of
Boston, MA. Funeral services will
be held Friday, April 19, 11 a.m., at
the Wayside Chapel Ministries of
Mason with the Rev. John A. Kenne-
dy officiating. Interment will follow
in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the Gorsline-
Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900
E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, begin-
ning Wednesday, 7 p.m., where the
family will receive friends from 7-9
p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Those desiring may make con-
