Gladys M. Cataline, 75, of Laingsburg, passed away, September 7, 2023, in Lansing. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Perry Chapel. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service with Alan Morris officiating. A graveside service will follow the service at 2:00 p.m., at Glendale Cemetery, in Okemos, Michigan.

Gladys M. Cataline was born October 23rd 1947 in Lansing Michigan. Her parents were Bessie Bell (Shellito) Snider and Walter Inman Snider. She graduated from Eastern High School and worked for the Lansing School District as a Food Service Manager. She married Larry Cataline on December 31st 1965 and lived on Lansing's south side for 45 years until moving to Laingsburg in 2010 for the country life.

Gladys was a dedicated Dog Trainer for 40 years. She Co-Founded Canines for Change with her best friend Dr. Nikki Brown. Their organization continues to train service and facility dogs having placed dogs in multiple school districts as well as placing dogs with the Pennsylvania Epilepsy Foundation. Gladys was also very accomplished with her favorite breed, the Belgium Laekenois, having decorated her home with numerous trophies, ribbons, certificates and titles.

Gladys fought a courageous 4 year battle with Breast cancer. She is survived by her husband Larry Cataline, daughter Natalie Morris (Alan) son John Cataline (Lynn) 7 grandchildren, Shelby Murray, Johnny and Matthew Cataline, Gavin Kersey, Gage, Michael and Brittany Kanye. 4 great grandchildren Lillyanna and David Murphy, Salem Powell and Reed Kanye. siblings Beatrice Kilvington, Claude Snider ,Fran Snider, Lydia Ostrander and Larry Perfitt.

Gladys will be sorely missed in the dog training world. Canines for Change will always remember her boundless energy, her expertise, and her ability to make her opinion known at the most unexpected times.
