MICHIGANTOWN - Bernard B. "Bunk" Brant, 76, died at 3 PM Tuesday, May 19, 1981, in Clinton County Hospital. A life resident of the home in which he was born, Mr. Brant was first married in 1930 to Ella Yeary. He second marriage was in 1946 to Sophia Paulina (Miller) Carr, who survives.
Mr. Brant was retired from Ingram Richardson Corp. after 37 years of service. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Frankfort.
Surviving with his widow are a son, Tommy J. Brant; a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Harold) Dixon; a stepson, Walter C. Carr; a stepdaughter, Vivian (Mrs. Ben) Hodgen, all of Frankfort; a brother, Paul V. Brant of Boyleston; seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hobart "Hub" Brant in April, 1948.
