Tom J. Brant, 74, was the son of the late Bernard B. Brant and Ella M. Yeary Brant Robertson. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jarrett Bolen in 1994, his parents and step mother, Sophia Brant. He married Marlene Hutchison on April 14, 1962 in Wanamaker, Indiana. She survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Christina Bolen; son, David (Tammy) Brant; sister, Janet Dixon (Norman) Fairfield; step sister, Vivian Hodgen; step brother, Walter Calvin (Peggy) Carr; four grandchildren, Tanner and Caira Bolen and Drew and Nathan Brant and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
He served in the U.S. Navy in Guam and the South China Seas.
