A memorial service for Lena Edna(Deutschendorf) Cobb-Snider,83, Clinton resident, will be held at 6 P.M. Friday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home officiated by Abraham Lincoln Deutschendorf.
Mrs. Snider died Tuesday. Oct 2, 2012, at the Corn Hertiage Village in Corn. She was born March 12, 1929 in Corn, the daughter of John Henry and Anna (Koop) Deutschendorf.
Reared in Corn, Mrs Snider attended Cloud Chief High School and was salutarian of her 1947 graduating class.
She moved to Clinton and began her working career at the Soutwestern Bell Telephone as a phone operator, and after 30 years of service retired in 1977.
She married Bob Cobb on Oct 16 1950 in Clinton, and they made their home in Clinton for several years. She later married C. Kenneth Snider on Aug 6, 1976 in Wheeler Texas and they continued to live in Clinton where they both worked on the farm.
Mrs Snider was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Southwestern Bell Pioneers.
