Mrs. Jessie Claypool, 75, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Howard Nutt, Wewoka, at 7:25 p. m. Monday, following an extended illness. She had been bedfast the past four months.

Born at Ford City, Pa., March 1, 1876, she resided at Smithville from 1915 until she moved to Wewoka about a year ago. She owned and operated the hotel at Smithville. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p. m. Thursday at the Smithville Baptist church.

Arrangements and burial in Smithville cemetery are under direction of Coffey funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Howard Nutt, Wewoka; one granddaughter, Miss Edris Gertrude Nutt, Wewoka; and three sisters, Mrs. Louie Harpending, Smithville, and Miss Isabell Campbell and Mrs. Mary E. Thomas, both of Ford City.
