Mr. Prince S. Halligan Sr., age 91 of 1605 Aimwell Road in Vidalia, died early Sunday morning September 30, 2012 at Hospice Savannah after an extended illness.
Mr. Halligan was a native and life-long resident of Vidalia and was a retired Electronic Technician. Mr. Halligan was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was a long time member and past Master of the Vidalia Masonic Lodge. He was Baptist by Faith.
Mr. Halligan is preceded in death by his wife Rita Marie Halligan in 1994, his daughter Patricia Temples in 2012 and his grandson Joseph Halligan in 2001. He is survived by one son, Prince S. Halligan Jr. of Fort Valley; one brother, James R. Halligan of Centerville; one granddaughter, Joanne Pryor of Marieta, CA and one grandson, Patrick Bras Da Silva of Dacula.
Funeral services for Mr. Prince S. Halligan Sr. will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 4 Pm in the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2 PM Saturday. Donations may be made to Hospice Savannah at PO Box 13190 Savannah GA 31416.
