Pallbearers were William Pritchard, John Pritchard, Irvin Rose, Harry Baker, Sam Mackey and Frank Steininger. On the flower committee were Mrs. Ben Magnuson and Mrs. Harry Baker. Burial was at the Linwood Park cemetery.
John James Pritchard, son of John and Frances Pritchard, was born October 5, 1878 at Moingona, IA., and died Thursday, December 8, 1955 at the Boone county hospital.
He moved with his parents to Ogden at an early age where he spent most of his life. About eight years ago he moved to Boone. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Ogden and the IOOF Lodge. For several years he served at the Presbyterian Church as custodian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Milhorn Pritchard; a daughter, Louise Gifft; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Pritchard; Darel Gifft, his grandson whom he raised, now living in Canoga Park, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Rogan of Boone.
