Loretta died September 23, 2012 at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home, Ellsworth, Minnesota.
Loretta was born on March 27, 1936 at Bellflower, California, the daughter of Robert and Anna Smith. She attended high school at Madison, SD.
Loretta married Myron Eichmann on June 6, 1954 in Howard, South Dakota. They farmed south of Winfred for several years and then moved to Luverne, MN. Loretta and Myron moved to Adrian in 1973 where they owned and operated the bowling alley for four years.
Loretta then worked at Sailor Plastic for many years and was a driver for Medi-Van until 2009. Loretta enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and was very interested in family genealogy. Loretta was avid graver and took many photos for Find-A-Grave.
She is survived by her five sons, Russell (Christie) of Worthington, Norman (Jessica) of Gale City, VA, Andy (Kela) of Adrian, Kenneth (Beth) of St. Peter, MN, David (Andrea) of Hastings, MN; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; a brother. Robert Smith of Las Vegas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
