Coke lead a full life devoted to service. He retired after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, he continued to serve by helping anyone he encountered, in any way he could. Coke was a friend to anyone he met. He greeted each day and those he encountered with a warm hearted smile and usually a humorous comment. Those who knew him would say that the bumper sticker "I'd rather be fishing" was written with Coke in mind. Coke was a devoted Christian, husband, father, son, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his father A.L. Ivy, and his step-father Fred Fenton.
Coke is survived by his wife Suzanne Kay Ivy, his children Kris, Randy, Terra, Kalvin, Janna, Kirk, Kimberly and Ariana; thirteen grandchildren, as well as his mother Geraldine, siblings Cherry, Larry, Don, Kay, and David; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, unofficially adopted children, countless friends – he will be truly missed by all!
