We first became acquainted with Chiang when we kept him during his owner's vacation in the spring of 1987. My husband really took to Chiang and offered to take him if the owner ever needed to re-home him. Chiang spent so much time alone while his owner worked, that he soon decided that Chiang should come back to live with us.

Chiang was a dog with attitude and could be a little unpredictable. He put up with all kinds of nonsense from our son but he had much less tolerance for my husband and I. We can both attest to a Lhaso Apso being able to deliver a darn good bite! And by the time the pain and bleeding started he acted as if nothing had happened.

You just couldn't stay mad at him though and we adored the little nipper. He had a unique personality and was really quite attached to my husband. I take care of 'em and they prefer the husband...go figure.
