COLUMBIA - Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home chapel in Columbia for Herbert Jay Magee, 67, of Columbia, who died Sept. 13, 2008, in Columbia.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Magee was a retired truck driver and member of Foxworth First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer T. Magee and Lillian Eunice Broom Magee.

Survivors include five sisters, Joselyn Johnson and Rachel Herrin, both of Hattiesburg, Glendine Herrington of Sumrall, Carol Dillman of Shreveport, La., and June Nichols of Foxworth; four brothers, Royce G. Magee of Morgantown, Harold Magee of Foxworth, Jackie Magee of Columbia and Nolan Magee of Alexandria, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at noon Monday at the funeral home.
