Dewey McElwrath
CAMERON -- Dewey "Bubba" McElwrath, 94, of Cameron died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron with the Rev. Tom Kennedy and the Rev. Keith Whitaker officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. McElwrath was born in Barclay. A retired employee of Marek-Burns-Laywall Funeral Home with 28 years of service, he was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cameron and the Young Men's Bible Class. He also had retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 33 years of service.
Survivors are a daughter, Norma Bland of Taylor; a sister, Opal Hill of Huntsville; four grandchildren; and five grandchildren {sic}.
