Mrs. Elizabeth Troy, an aged resident of Carney Station, died at 7:20 o'clock, last evening following a week's illness with Asthma. She had lived at Carney for more than sixty years having been there long before the Pennsylvania railroad was bulit through here. She was the widow of the late Michael Troy, who was one of the first track foreman ever employed by the railroad company. His death ocurred about three years ago.

Mrs Troy is survived by nine children and by twenty-four grand children. Of her children, John Troy lives in Latrobe, Patrick Troy in Greensburg, Dennis Troy at Carney, Miss Margaret Troy at Carney, Miss Elizabeth Troy at Pittsburgh. Mrs Valley Vey, at Hawkins, David Troy at Edgewood, James Troy, at Carney, Mrs Samuel Geary at Wilkinsburg.

The furneral services will be held at St. Vincent's church at ten o'clock on Thursday morning. The interment will follow in St. Vincent's cemetery.
