Leah Rose Meir, 61, of Portales, N.M., formerly of West Branch, Bellaire, Central Lake and Sault Ste. Marie, has been planned. Leah passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011.
Leah was born Dec. 14, 1949.
Leah is survived by her husband, Bernard Meir of Traverse City; her sons, Michael (Rachel) of Kissimmee, Fla., Vaughn (Chris) of South Lyon, Jeremy (Huang Ling) of Kunming, China, Heath (Christie) of Boyne City and Art of Sault Ste. Marie; 15 very loved grandchildren; four brothers and one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Klacking Creek Township Hall in West Branch on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
