Son of the late Kellard and Viola Vandevender Quiggle, he was a graduate of Enid High School. He served 23 years in the military (Korea). He was a member of the Waukomis Baptist Church. He was a life member of the Good Sams Club and the V.F.W. He was survived by two children from a previous marriage, Janet Johndrow and Bill Quiggle. He was also survived by his wife, Jean; two step-sons, Gary Estes and Randy Estes; brother, John Quiggle; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson. His funeral was held on October 3, 2012, with The Rev. Danny Marney officiating. His burial was with military honors provided by Vance Air Force Base.
