Mrs. Nannie E. Werner, 79 died at her home Monday, after a brief illness. Born July 7, 1895 in Clay Center, Nebraska, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Nye. Lived 55 years in Rockford, coming her from Rochester, Minnesota. Married to Edward W. Werner in Rochester, September 16, 1917. Formerly was a saleswoman for D.J. Stewart & Company for 10 years, retiring in 1964. She was the widow of Edward W. Werner. Survivors include two daughters and a granddaughter. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, with burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
