Eva Greenberg was born October 24, 1901 in Russia as Chawe Grunberg. She came to America on April 4th 1906 with her motherTaube (aka Tillie Pollack) Greenberg and brother Charles (Schaje Greenberg). They came aboard the SS Potsdam from the port in Rotterdam, Holland. They met her father, Samuel Greenberg here, as he had already arrived in 1905. She married Harry Abelson on December 17, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY.

They had two children, Roslyn Abelson (June 5, 1923- Jan 11, 2006) and Seymour Abelson (Sept. 4, 1928). Roselyn married David Kaminsky. Seymour married Diana Grossman on August 25, 1948. Eva passed away on November 28, 1996 in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. She was a grand lady, full of fun and always ready to share a story and a smile.
