P. Thomas, 92 of Huntington passed away Wednesday morning, August 29, 2012 at the Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

He farmed for many years in Huntington and Wabash Counties. He was a member of the Tristate Tractor and Engine Club. He loved to do puzzles and was very active in the lives and activities of his family.

He was born in Elko, Indiana, a son of Charles and Laura (Cozad) Harrell. He was united in marriage to Opal G. Ziner on February 17, 1940. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2010.

Survivors include four sons: Jack D. Harrell of Roanoke; Daniel D. (Linda) Harrell of Warren; D. Gregory (Donna) Harrell of Huntington; Gary L. (Holly) Harrell of Huntington; two daughters: Diana L. (Terry) Hoffman of Macy, IN; Debra J. (Dennis) Bruch of Huntington; a brother: Lamoine Harrell of Shirley, IN; a sister: Barbara Smith of Huntington; eleven grandchildren: Scott Taylor, Shawn Taylor, Jason Harrell, Justin Harrell, Jacob Harrell, Tiffany Harrell, Nicky Buehler, Bridgette Harrell, Jamie Updike, Matthew Bruch, Sonceria Stegall and seventeen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons: Carl Harrell; Ralph Harrell; Richard Harrell; a granddaughter: Karrie Jo Harrell; two brothers: Max Harrell; Robert Harrell and a sister: Agnes Hite.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
