Mrs. Paeth, age 87 years, passed away Sunday, March 8 2009 at the Bay Medical Care Facility. Daugher of the late Jacob and Katherine Gies she was born April 9, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Roland C. Paeth January 26, 1946 in Trinity Lutheran Church. He predeceased her August 22, 1975. Edna was a member of St. John Lutheran Chuch and the Ladies Aide.
Surviving are five children: Roger Paeth, Sandra (Duane) Haut, Roland (Carol) Paeth, Ronald Paeth and Peter Schneider, Debra (Gordon) Gibas; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son and a daughter, Dennis Paeth, Barbara Lamkin; two sister and five brothers.
Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John Lutheran Church. Pastor Paul E. Schaewe will officiate with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spuires Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. John Lutheran Church.
