Jeremiah Daniel Brown the son of Ignatius and Elizabeth McAfee wed 29 May 1828, Mary Ann Flautt, the daughter of Jacob and Amelia (Woolfe) Flautt. He was a lumberman by trade.

(2.) Joseph B. Brown, b. August 1830, d. 28 February 1910 married Diana Buhrman b.1831 d. 1923, daughter of Jacob and Mary N. (Mclain) Buhrman, of Adams County PA.
(3.) James Daniel Brown, b. 22 1831 d. 12 May 1908, dwelt at Euclid near mount Zion Frederick County, MD. He wed 20 May 1849, Savilla Mary Buhrman: b. 1832 d.1872, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Lantz) Buhrman. Following the dead of his father, James Brown was apprenticed to a wagonmaker In Hagerstown, Washington County, MD.
(4.) William F. Brown, d. 6 October 1910 aged Seventy-seven years, farmed near Mount Zion. He married (first) Susanna J. Berklite, who died 6 June 1870; (second) Catherine E.
Harbaugh who d. 13 November 1877; and (third) Mary Ann "Molly" Ruth who died 18 August 1947.
(5.) Savilla A. Brown b. January 1834-died 10 April 1913 married 28 October 1852, George Martin Harbaugh.
(6.) Upton Jeremiah Brown, posthumously born, d. 24 Apr 1902 aged sixty-six years two month, and nine days. He married 19 October 1876, Margaret A. Himes.
