William F. Brown, born 4 Jun 1831, son of Jeremiah Daniel Brown and Mary Ann Flautt, farmed near Mount Zion. He died 6 October 1910, aged seventy-seven Years.
He married (first), 18 Mar. 1852; Susannah J. the daughter of Joseph and Susannah (Gordon) Berklite, who died 6 June 1870.
His (Second) marriage, Catherine E. Harbaugh, daughter of Daniel and Susannah (Fitz) Harbaugh, who died 13 November 1877
His (Third) marriage Mary Ann Ruth b. 17 August 1853 b.18 August 1947, daughter of Jesse and Sarah (Miller) Ruth.
He was born near Buena Vista, Washington County, Maryland.
William F. Brown's obituary in the Waynesboro Evening Herald, 6 October 1810, stated that he had fathered twenty-three children, of whom nineteen survived him.

(8.) James Daniel Brown, b. 14 January 14, 1861, d, 23 Jun 1823 married his cousin Marth Jane Ellen "Mattie" daughter of James and Savilla Brown.
(9.) Harry Benjamim Brown b. 1866 d. 1904, married Anna Mary Elizabeth Miller, after his death she married Clarence J. Beaver.
(10.) Stella Brown, b. 1867 d. 1933 married William D. Kraige, removed to Roanoke, VA.
(11) Elsie S. Brown, b.1868-d. 1932, married David Agustus Ruths.
