Mrs. Suzette Gay Meens
BERRYTON - Mrs. Suzette Gay Meens, 33, Route 2, Berryton, died Wednesday at her home. She had cancer.
She was born February 21, 1947 at Riverside, Calif., daughter of George H. and Ruby I. Offen Jr. She attended Highland Park Central Elementary School and Highland Park Junior High, and was graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1965.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Young Men's Christian Association and Wood Valley Racquet Club, all in Topeka.
She was married to Gregg Allen Meens on July 24, 1965, at Berryton. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Scott Allen Meens, Russell Guy Meens and Matthew Douglas Meens, and a daughter, Evie Marie Meens, all of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Offen Jr., Fort Myers Beach, Fla., a grandmother, Blanche Shower, Oregon City, Ore., and a sister, Mrs. Joy Davis, Topeka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 3033 MacVicar, Topeka, Kan., 66611, or Berryton United Methodist Church Berryton, Kan., 66409.
