Mr. Coy B. Judd, son of the late Mr. Ezra Judd and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Creamer Judd, was born October 4, 1900, In Green County and departed this life at 8:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, May 30, 1973, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. He was 72 years of age. He had made a profession of faith In Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church at the time of his death. He united In marriage to Miss Bessie Shuffett May 28, 1926, and she preceded him in death September 11, 1932. To this union was born one daughter: Mrs. Graham Judd, Greensburg. He later united in marriage to Miss Helen Arnett September 14, 1940, who survives. To this union were born one son and one daughter. Surviving is Mrs. Glen Bright, Greensburg. Deral Clinton Judd preceded his father In death. Mr. Judd is also survived by one sister: Miss Blanche Judd, Greensburg; two brothers: Roy Judd, Greensburg, and Ellis Judd, Nicholasville; and four grandchildren. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. (CDT) Friday, June 1, 1973, at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Revs. Terry Bishop and Hubert Wilson officiated. Pallbearers: Dale Judd, William Jewell, Ronda Arnett, Jerry Arnett, Donald Gene Bishop, and Evyind Davis.
