Herman L. Watts

Herman L. Watts, 71, of 2531 Terry Ave., died Sunday in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness.
The son of Henry and Isabelle Watts, he was born in Crandall, S.D., May 2, 1920.

The family moved to Montana when Herman was 4, settling in the Hysham area.

He entered the Army Air Corps in September 1941 and was discharged in December 1945.
He served 16 months in the European Theater of Operation.

In 1950, he went to work for Cummins Diesel Sales and stayed with the company through changing names and ownership.

He retired from Cummins Power in 1986 as general manager.

On April 21, 1951, he married Nada McJunkin at the First Methodist Church in Billing.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Herman is survived by his wife, Nada; a son, Gary and his wife, Julie of Billings, MT., a son, Rodney of Summer, WA.; one
granddaughter, Jenna of Billings; five brothers, Henry and Harvey
of Miles City, Harold of Kinsey, MT., Howard of Billings and Herbert of Livingston, MT.; two sisters, Annabelle Jones of Livingston and Isabelle Myron of Miles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Homer and Harry.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Grace United Methodist Church.

Interment with military honors will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorial to the Grace United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
