Elizabeth SAILER born 24 September 1856 in Neusatz, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia was the daughter of Andreas SAILER and Christina BOHRER.

Elizabeth married Heinrich MESSER on the 30th of November 1880 in Crimea, South Russia. This union was blessed with 7 children; Heinrich, Fredrika, Adam, Christ, Johann, Adam and Amelia.

Elizabeth at the age of 47 with her husband Heinrich and their children; Christian, Johann, Adam and Amelia, immigrated to America via the Port of Antwerp, Belgium on the 28th of November 1903 aboard the SS "Vaderland" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 7th of December 1903.

The family's final destination was recorded as Mannhaven, Mercer County, North Dakota to join Heinrich's Bother-in-Law, Adam SAILER. The manifest also revealed that the SAILER family had a combined total of $30 in their pockets when they arrived in America.
