Bio and Links
Bio Photo In 2008 I began researching mine and my wife's family roots in earnest, knowing full well that someday my children and their children will be interest in knowing their heritage. Initially like the majority of the genealogists working online I was strictly a "FIND A GRAVE" user, until I realized its unlimited global potential.
This was the turning point that got me thinking that real ‘Family Biographies' needed to be told here. Therefore, my goal is to create meaningful linked ‘Family Memorials' honoring our ancestors that toiled so relentlessly in building these great lands that we fortunately now call HOME.
Working to honor our Ancestral Pioneers by bringing Families together!

Russian Ancestors
instead of using Russian Federation on our German-Russian ancestors on findagrave, I think it is more accurate to use Ukraine as the country and Odes'ka as the area since that is where the cemetery is correctly located on the map now. On my genealogy programs , etc., I am using this format:Worms, Beresan, Odessa, (Ukraine), Russia.

You never did say anything about the photo I added to Johanestal?

Are you related to the Wetzels ?

Engel children
Thank you for the recent edit suggestions for the Engel children in Hoffnung Cemetery in Yankton. Would you happen to have info on who their parents were? I would love to get them linked if possible.

RE: Re: Jane Dorothy Starrs
Because Alberta does not have any vital statistics on line and has no plans in the foreseeable future to put them on line I try to add as many names and dates as I can so people can at least find some information. Because adding photos takes so long I mostly only add when people show an interest in a person for whom I have created a page. In Canada we do not get emails alerting us about photo requests, I sure hope this changes soon.

Have a great day and take care

RE: Rosina (Moser) Becker
Rosina is in the correct cemetery. Just thought you might have been interested in how the incorrect cemetery came to exist.

RE: Rosina (Moser) Becker
If you do a cemetery search for Inga, you will see the 2 cemeteries. The one where she was and where she is now( the right one, near Stony Plain)

I have requested that Admin remove the incorrect cemetery and convince the person with the other entries to move them to the correct cemetery, I know where they really are as I took photos of their markers :-))

RE: Rosina (Moser) Becker

a friend figured out how the mistake was made.

Seems there is a Parkland near Claresholm and Inga cemetery near Stony Plain is in the county of Parkland!

Such an easy mistake if you are not familiar with the area. So Grand daughter was right. She just gave you too much information and that caused the confusion.

By The Way
Did you happen to notice that the cemetery page for where you had placed Rosina had the Legal Land Description and map for the cemetery by Stony Plain! Not sure how Claresholm crept into the address! :-))
