Dee Beard, 95, of Green County died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2000 at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. Daughter of the late Chrissy and Willie Bass Beard, she was born on April 23, 1905, and was a member of the Liletown United Methodist Church. She is survived by one brother and four sisters-in-laws, Orville "Johnny" Beard, Jewell Beard, Catherine Beard and Ruth Beard all of Greensburg, and Ann Beard of Campbellsville. Funeral was at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, with burial in the Liletown Cemetery. Bro. Joseph Wilcoxson and the Rev. Gary Harden officiated. Honorary pallbearers were Employees of Green Hill Manor Nursing Staff.
