Mrs. Shipley was born Ida Felix, near Pettit. She was married in 1892 to B. F. Shipley, who died in 1942. Besides Mrs. Osmun, another daughter, Mrs. Claude Price of Brookston, survives; also a brother, William Felix of Montmorenci.
The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. John Root in the Church of the Brethren in Pyrmont, Monday afternoon. Grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers and granddaughters as tribute-bearers. Burial was in the Pyrmont cemetery with M. E. Kleinsmith in charge.
Relatives who came from a distance for the funeral were Mrs. Will Bowen, Mrs. Harry Mussey and O. F. Cripe, all of Cerro Gordo, Ill.
