Carmen-2 was the daughter of Alfred-1 William Shellito Sr. and his wife Bertha Belle (Carman) McNutt.

Carmen married 1) Tomas Morin Sr. He died ~1954/1955 from a construction mishap while working on the Frandor Shopping Center in East Lansing, Ingham, MI.

Carmen married 2) Arthur "Art" Hilton on 5/1/1970.

David Ellis: "Carmen's first husband, Tomas Morin, died in a workplace accident around 1954 or maybe 1955. Carmen did not marry Duffy Fournier. She married Arthur Hilton on May 1, 1970. She was a very caring person. When she moved the family back to Michigan from California, money was very tight, so she just ate soda crackers and water so the kids could eat. She would clean other people's houses to earn extra money.

Carmen always had something good to say about everyone she knew. She liked playing Euchre with people who didn't cheat. She enjoyed dancing. More than anything else, she loved being a grandmother. The peony was one of her favorite flowers. She loved vibrant colors, and her favorite color was red. Her daughter Ramona looks very much like her. We miss her very much!"
