Our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Grace Hall Bennett, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept. 24, 2012 at the age of 93. She was born May 6, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James William Hall and Eleda Martina Nordquist. She married her sweetheart, John Everett Bennett, Sept. 1, 1940 at Manilla, Utah. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on April 10, 1941.

She loved the Savior and had a strong testimony of the Gospel. She spent her life working in the Church with 18 years as a Provo Temple worker. Her greatest joy was her family. She grew up in Provo, and lived in Mapleton where she was a Mapleton City treasurer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, her parents, her only sibling Raymond, and an infant daughter, DeNell Grace.

She is survived by Kathleen (Bill) Shaw, Morgan, UT; Ray (Karen), Cedar City, UT; Neil (Judy), Washington, UT; John Larry, Morgan, UT; and Diane, Morgan, UT. She has 17 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Her last five years were spent with Kathleen and Diane in Morgan, UT. A special thanks to the Family Tree Assisted Living Center staff and special friend Marilyn Kariya.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the LDS Church, 475 N. 1600 W. Mapleton, UT. A viewing will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the services.

Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery
