Funeral services for Frank King, 80, of 3105 Ramos St., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Theus officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Barefield Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Morris Roberts, W. B. Callan, Leo Welder, R. C. Hamel, M. Greeson Sr., P. K. Stubblefield and deacons of St. Peter's Baptist Church.
Walk-in -visitation will be held at Barefield Funeral Home from noon until 8:30 p.m. Friday. The family will receive visitors from 7-8 p.m.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. India King of Victoria; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Prince of Victoria, Mrs. Julia Dear of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Elizabeth Powell of San Angelo; three sons, Sterling King of Los Angeles, Calif., Frank G. King of Kansas City, and Arlee King of Radcliff, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He died Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness.
