Stratford- Services for Bernice Lobaugh, 77, are 2 pm Monday at the First Baptist Church where she was a member. Burial will be at McGee Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Jones will officiate. Mrs. Lobaugh died Friday at her home. She was born May 15, 1917 at Civit to Charles and Hannah Golden Griffin and lived in the Stratford area most of her life.
She was a housewife who married Granville Logaugh Dec. 24, 1936. He died March 18, 1978. Survivors include one son, Billy Wayne Lobaugh, Louisville, Texas; one daughter Burna Dean McGinnis, Bixby; her mother, Hannah Griffin, starford; one brother Harold Griffin, Oil Center; eight sisters, Ruby Matlock and Inez Stonecipher, both of Starford, Lynden Jackson and Bobbie Jean Evans, both of Norco, Calif, Charlene Evans, Statson, Calif., Anna Wren, Velma, and Barbara Burnett, Tulsa, and Laura Shurber, Wynnewood; and two grandchildren. Bearers wil be Ralph Pruitt, Bobby Gray, J.D. Masters, Leornard Freeman, Golden Endicott, and Larry Wood. Pickard Funeral Home is in charge arrangements.
