Chuck Boone, age 62, of Summer Hill Lane in Spruce Pine, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.
A lifelong resident of Mitchell County, he was born on March 29, 1950 in McDowell County and was the son of the late Harold and Mildred Vance Boone. Chuck had been employed for twenty-one years by Feldspar Trucking of Spruce Pine.
Chuck loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be missed by all that knew him.
The funeral service for Chuck Boone will be conducted on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the New Beginning Baptist Church in Burnsville with the Rev. Jackie Silver officiating. Interment will follow in the Rebels Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the New Beginning Baptist Church.
