Mable Davis Norman of East Bend, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007.
She was born in Yadkin County on Dec. 17, 1909, to Josiah Mahlon and Isabell Sanders Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, James Alvis Norman and Foy Norman; a sister, Edna Davis Matthews; two brothers, Alva Davis and Carl Davis; sons-in-law, Joe Surratt Jr. and Nelson Rabb; and 11 half brothers and sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Shirley (Joe) Surratt of Goldsboro, Eloise (Nelson) Rabb of Clemmons and Nancy (Allan) Norman of East Bend; a brother, Gertie Davis of East Bend; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday March 8, at New Home United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
