1927 - 2012

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away September 22, 2012 in Orem, Utah. She was born January 1, 1927 in Payson, Utah to John and Martha (Schramm) Zeeman. She and her identical twin, Aliene, grew up in Payson with eleven other siblings. She married Kenneth Kent Kendall the 13 November 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple and they resided in Orem and later Mapleton, Utah. She and Kent were blessed with four sons; Stephen (Susan), Bruce (Bonnie), Dennis (Donna) and Gerald. They have eighteen grand children and fifteen great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three siblings, a grandchild and a great grandchild.

Maxine was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She enjoyed her years of service as both a ward and a stake Relief Society President.

She had many talents as a homemaker, musician, artist, and seamstress. Her example of hard work and a love for the fine arts will always be remembered.

The viewing will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Wheeler Funeral home in Mapleton, Utah (82 W. 400 N.) Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012, 2:00 pm at the LDS Chapel (970 N. 400 E.)Mapleton, Utah with a viewing from 12:45 to 1:45 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery.

The family would like to express thanks to the staff of Golden Living Center for their compassionate service the last two years.
