Kenneth A. Caroff

Kenneth A. Caroff, 65, of 2051 Susquehanna Trail North, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Constance Wright Caroff.

Mr. Caroff was born in Dunlo, Pa., a son of the late Francois and Marie Caroff.

He retired in July as a boiler inspector from the Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance Co., where he was employed for 25 years.

Mr. Caroff was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church; American Legion Post 537, Dunlo; and the Dutch Club of York.

Mr. Caroff was a veteran of the U.S. Navy submarine service in World War II.

Surviving also are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rhoda Farina, Glastonburg, Conn.; three step-grandchildren; a brother, James Caroff, Dunlo, four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Fox, Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. Katherine Serre, Dunlo; Mrs. Marie Lafferty, Johnstown; and Mrs. Joan Simpson, Baltimore, Md.

The Rev. Canon George A. Kemp, rector of St. John's Church, will officiate at funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, Queen and Jackson streets. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
