FOX - Elizabeth R., 95, Woodstock, N.Y., formerly of Dunlo, died Dec. 8, 1995, at Fern Cliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck, N.Y. Born Oct. 12, 1900, in Windber, daughter of Francis and Marie (Corre) Caroff. Preceded in death by husband, James R.; son Raymond; sister, Kathryn Serre; and grandson, Raymond Hunter. Survived by these children: M. Grace Hunter, South Windsor, Conn.; Regina Lash, Woodstock, N.Y.; and John H. Fox, Lake St. Mary, Fla.; also 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sister of Marie Lafferty, Johnstown, and Joan Simpson, Baltimore, Md. 1923 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing, Pittsburgh. Registered nurse in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Connecticut. Also involved in many facets of nursing: private home, school and industrial nursing. Retired from Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, Conn. Brief prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Corpus Christi Cemetery.
