Helen Leona Bortner, 318 East King street (sic), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi E. Bortner, Glen Rock RD2, became the bride of Angelo Anthony Antonicelli, 67 Front street (sic), West Fairview, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orazio Antonicelli, on Aug. 28 in the rectory of Our Lady of Lourdes church (sic) Enola.

Rev. Charles J. Weaver performed the ceremony.

After a week's wedding trip to New Jersey, the couple is at home at 607 Showers street (sic), Harrisburg.

The bride was graduated from Codorus Township high school, Glenville, and was employed by Jayson-York company.

The bridegroom attended Lemoyne High school and is working at New Cumberland Army depot.

Angelo Antonicelli, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 on his ninety second birthday. Born in West Fairview on September 22, 2012, he was a son of the late Orazio and Annie (Girardi) Antonicelli.

He retired from the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot and was a US Army veteran of WW II.

Angelo was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church; NARFE: Mechanicsburg Senior Adult Center and the Disabled American Veterans. He had also served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.

His wife Helen L. Antonicelli and brothers Frank, Samuel and Joseph preceded him in death.

Surviving are four sons, Stephen and wife Rosita of Macon GA, Brian of Augusta, GA, Matthew and his late wife Jan of Ellicott City, MD, and David and wife Dawn of Mechanicsburg; a daughter Debra and her husband Blair Howell Jr. of New Bloomfield; four grandchildren, Nathan and DeAnna Antonicelli, Bobbi Jo Hershey and Michelle Daquinag, of California, three great grandchildren, Darren, Christine, and Justin Daquinag all of California.

The family is grateful for the devoted and dedicated assistance provided by Angelo's care giver Fay Grant.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at St. Katharine Drexel Church with the Rev. Stephen D. Weitzel as celebrant. Viewings will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg and also at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday. Burial with military honors provided by the Cumberland County Honor Guard will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
