Ada Chowning McFarland
Ada Chowning McFarland, 45, of Crumbaugh Road, died her home Monday, Jan. 25, 1999. She was the wife of Daniel W. McFarland.
She was born in Scott County, Ky. on Dec.23, 1953, and was the daughter of Harold and Louise Chowning of Georgetown. She was an employee of Country Peddler Inc.,and a member of Grace Christian Center, Georgetown.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include a sister Ann Vance, Scott County; a brother Don Chowning, Lexington; aunts and uncle, Della and Henry Stewart, Lexington, and Evelyn Sinkhorn, Georgetown; her father -in -law, W.D. Mack "Mack" McFarland, Georgetown.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 27, 1999 at the Grace Christian Center with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Jack Conner, Mark Harris, Gary Toney, Gary Bertrum, Jack Sexton and Tom Zurowski.
Visitation will be at Grace Christian Center until time of services. Tucker, Yocum & Wilson is in charge of arrangements.
