FAIRBURY - The Funeral Of Myrtle Elizabeth Coleman, 94, of Fairbury will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.
The Rev. Stanley Rapp will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and for one hour before the service Friday at the church.
She died at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday (May 3, 1994) at the Marjorie Fulton Skilled Care Unit of Fairbury Hospital.
Mrs. Coleman was born Feb. 28, 1900, in Pleasant Ridge Township, a daughter of Henry E. and Mary C. Besgrove Lear. She married Edmon Coleman June 16, 1924, in Pontiac. He died July 1, 1973.
Survivors include two sons, James H. Coleman, Atlanta, and Keith L. Coleman, Fairbury; two sisters, Irene Runyon, Fairbury, and Goldie Gillette, Ottawa; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
One brother, three sisters and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Mrs. Coleman was a lifetime area resident.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fairbury; United Methodist WSCS Circle; and Fairbury Hospital Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to her church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
