Darlene "Corky" age 68 years, two months and one day, a resident of East Prairie, passed away Friday September 21, 2012 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 20, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Charley Forest "Peewee" & Darling R. "Dot" Masterson Henry, Corky lived most of her life in Mississippi County she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie. On November 14, 1964 in the First Baptist Church in East Prairie she married Otis Lawrence Black who preceded her in death on May 22, 2005.

She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Pete" & Carolyn Henry of East Prairie; one niece and nephew, Marsha Lynn Dunn and Steven Henry; by several cousins; and many friends.

Besides her parents one daughter, Darla Diane Black; one niece, Deborah Kay Henry; one nephew, Marcus Henry also preceded Corky in death.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery with Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie in charge of arrangements.
